Senior Geophysical Surveyor

Green Rebel are currently seeking a full-time senior geophysicist who will serve as a key member of Green Rebel’s survey team, based in Crosshaven, Co Cork. The role will involve marine geophysical data collection as well as system calibrations and maintaining good working order of all equipment.

Key duties and responsibilities

Acquisition and management of hydrographic data
Maintaining quality control
Mobilising, calibrating, and maintaining equipment
Assisting with data processing while offshore or in our offices
Overseeing junior survey teammates

Essential

Four years’ experience in marine geophysical surveying
Degree in geophysics or other relevant science
Experience with parametric SBP, SSS, gradiometers
Knowledge of GNSS and INS systems
Experience with acquisition and processing software
Ability to work offshore
Ability to travel within the EU

Desirable

Ability to assist with geophysical data collection
Experience with offshore wind energy
Logically minded with critical thinking ability
